Information for International domain name owners

You might recall that earlier this year we sent out some information about changes to ICANN's (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) rules surrounding International Domain Names (you can read that article here).

Following on from this we just wanted to remind our customers who own an International Domain, such as a .com, .co, .biz or .info, to expect an email from SRS Plus asking that you check that your Domain Holder, or Registrant, information is up-to-date and correct - I have included a screenshot of an email that we received today so that you can see what they look like.

ICANN states that "inaccurate or outdated information may be grounds for domain name cancellation", so it is really important that you follow the instructions in the email - click here to check the Registrant contact information held against your domain now. NB: You need to check all international domains that you may own.

If you find that any of your information is incorrect please email the required changes to (quoting the domain name/s they refer to in the subject line) and we will update these on your behalf.

Remember, if you are ever unsure whether an email you receive is legitimate, do not open the email and contact us directly on 0800 TURBOWEB.
