Stoney Creek Marque III We built Stoney Creek’s first website back in 2001 and their second site in 2005 so when they decided they needed a more comprehensive content management system, Stoney Creek’s owners asked us to provide a quote and design proposal. In line with good business practise they also gathered proposals from a number of other website companies and after assessing all the proposals they again chose us to complete their new site.Stoney Creek faces some specific challenges because of their particular customer base. The majority of their on line customers are aged 45 and older and live in rural areas so lots of fancy features and pop up windows were not what Stoney Creek was looking for. They knew they needed a clean site that was easy to navigate and quick to upload for customers still on dial up speed. Of course creating a simple, easy to load site for users did not mean a simple, easy to build site. Getting it right was complex. We chose ecommerce platform Magento www.magentocommerce.com and used design company Firebrand for a visually pleasing front end. We then did extensive customisation to include some great features like imbedded video, a blog, and a newsletter module that uploads Stoney Creek products into the newsletter before mailing. Singing Wood - Ian Davie Luthier Ian Davie, a craftsman Luthier from Purakanui, New Zealand, use the Simple Content Manager to manage his site.Modules utilised in this site include the new Media Player module that uses Flash to stream video to the player, allowing end users to watch the video while it is downloading. LANZ Recruitment LANZ Recruitment is an international locum placement site, dedicated to finding jobs for health professionals throughout New Zealand.The site was a major exercise in developing a website that would allow LANZ Recruitments to gather relevant data from both employers and potential locums. The technology in the website allows LANZ to manage content, publish and feature vacancies and run a raft of administration tools in the background. Iro Frazer - Photographer Iro's website is a combination of static pages built with FrontPage and a "coppermine" photo gallery system.Static pages allow Iro to edit his content with FrontPage as he needs to. Miracle Baby Wear Sam and Harriet at Miracle chose to use our Simple Content Manager to provision their website, and along with a custom theme and reviewed content for all products on their website they have launched a stunning looking website.While they were getting their content in place we put up a holding page that allowed them to capture email addresses of people who were interested in their website. Volunteering Otago Last year Volunteering Otago commissioned us to replace their ageing website with a vibrant and easy to manage site that put them in control of their content and enabled them to stay in touch with the volunteering community at large.After meeting with Lani Evans and Susie Yeats at Volunteering Otago it was clear that the solution would have to be dynamic, fun and certainly not "corporate". Their new website would need rotating staff profile images, the ability to display video content and an easy way to calendar upcoming events. Buddinghtree Consultancy Frank Buddingh', an international consulting arborist based in Lawrence, Otago approached us to assist him with updating his website. His old website had been developed for his New York office by an American web design company however it required him to update the HTML files using Dreamweaver or to find someone to complete the updates for him.Both options proved to be difficult and Frank became more and more frustrated at having no easy and immediate way to keep his website current. Knowing the out of date content could be losing him business he started to search for other solutions and found Turboweb on the internet. He was immediately drawn to the Simple Content Manager concept and is now a happy Turboweb client.
