Another update to the Simple Web Manager - 17th Nov 2011

We've released another update to our Simple Web Manager product - this one is going to help out those of you who run events on your website, or those of you who have eCommerce websites. Double whammy if you run both!

For events that you list on your website, you can now specify a start date and an end date. This will be a big help for people who are running events that span a whole week or a weekend. Events on the website will automatically be archived once the end date has passed.

In the store, we've made two changes. Firstly, we've added the ability to copy an existing product in the store. To use this feature, look for the "Copy From" box when adding or editing a product. Type a few characters of the product you're looking for and you'll get a list of products in your store that match your search term.

Secondly, if you have products that have multiple prices (e.g. a piece of furniture that comes in many different configuration) we've added a way for you to quickly change the price for all of the options. To use this feature, find the product that has multiple price options, click "edit options" and look for the "Set a price for all options" link. Type in a price (e.g. $120.50), click Apply and you're done.

Often these updates are made to help us support new types of websites, and often they are made as a result of feedback from our clients. If there's something about the Simple Web Manager that bugs you, drop us a line and we'll get it sorted out in our next release.

Note: These updates are automatically made available to all clients and at no additional cost. You don't have to do anything to activate these features, so if you can't see them give us a call and we'll take you through it.
